race track ?

Hi folks-

we are headed to Boardwalk next week, for our annual summer visit.....does anyone have any information on the race track you pass as you enter Magic Kingdom? I think it is called Driving Experience or something like that.....thanks to all!

It's called the Richard Petty Driving Expierence. It offers different programs to the the general public, that you can purchase. One is a ride a long program. There are also various packages you can purchase where you can actually drive the car for so many laps. These are true nascar's.

I bought the rookie expierence for my DH this past March. It allowed him to drive the car himself for 8 laps after a safety and training class. He loved it. I think he got up to 121 mph, w/ the top speeds being right around 125 mph they let you go.

I believe that it is the Richard Petty Driving Experience. From what I have read you can drive (or maybe ride in) a race car around the track after taking instructions. There is probably more info on allearsnet.com.

I took a ride in one of the race cars with an experienced driver a couple of years ago and it was great......very intense.
