We just got back from our 5k. It was great weather for a 5k race. Low 60’s with a light breeze. It was an out & back starting in the Justice Complex, going past the Library, past the Jackson Jungle Playground, and out to the road. Down the road, turn around & head back. There were approx 120 people in the race & we finished near the back. I finished Garmin Time of 37:22 11:58mpm; Clock Time of 37:31 with 3 people finishing behind me, but since that was a PR….I’ll take it. John finished Garmin Time 40:23 13:02mpm; Clock Time of 40:32 with 1 person behind him, again since that was a PR…..he’ll take it. All in all not a bad race for a small hometown race.
