Is Delta part of the RAC service?

If so, do you pay the baggage fees to RAC when you drop off the luggage?

What if you pre-pay via the internet? How would that work.

Sorry in advance if these are silly questions.

Check the sticky up top for participating airlines through the RAC.

You can pay baggage fees at the RAC desk, or pre-pay if you have "credits".

Just make sure you don't accidentally check-in while pre-paying your bags. Then you cannot use RAC; you have essentially already checked in and would have to take your bags to the airport to check in there.

Yes, DL is part of RAC. You'll need to call their number 407-284-1231 (free from room) before hand and pay your bag fee. They will give you a confirmation number that you'll need at the RAC desk. The RAC desk is open from 5am till 1pm so you will need to drop your bags off during that time. They no longer take payments at the desk and from what I understand if you checkin and pay for your bags online you cannot use RAC.

When did they stop taking payment at the RAC counter?? Seems like they just started doing it and now they stop??

When did that change - I was just there Saturday and paid for the bag fee right there.

As a matter of fact, she noted in the computer that it said I only owed $15.00 for Airtran in lieu of the new $20.00 fee, because I had booked my flight before a certain time.

Now, if you pay your bags and then "accidentally" check-in, then you cannot use RAC, as I stated in my PP. Checking in ahead of time will bump you out of the RAC computer, because essentially you have already checked in. Then you do have to take your bags to the airport and do check-in there.

That is where you are confused.
