So I called this morning and the CM I talked to didn't seem to know what she was talking about as she said that they don't check you in for flights at all you must do so at MCO (not true) and she double checked on this and came back with oh I guess they do so I asked if they check you in for a connecting flight she immediately said no which I can see and so I asked is there a place at the resort I can print my boarding pass she said yes

So I'm double checking with you wonderful DISers, Is there a place I can print my second flight boarding pass? Will they be able to do this at RAC I'm flying airtran they don't have a app or eticket, I can check in on my phone just can't print the pass and I'm started to worry because I only have like 45 mins between return flights

I also only have carry-on if this helps

Any help is greatly appreciated I've not flown since I was 6

hi,

Well When i left ASM last year..i got 2 sets of boarding passes at resort check out..(in march wont have to worry..i have non stop from MCO to Oma which is rare)...I got one set for my MCO to ATL flight and the other for ATL to OMA..so has that changed i dont know? maybe someone else could assist

You can do your own online check-in as long as it's within 24-hours of the departure time and the airline has an online check-in. The resort doesn't actually do this for you, but you can use the computer and printer provided at Guest Services. You must be within the 24-hour window. So assuming your connecting flights are relatively close together, you can do the online check-in for both - or do them at separate times. But you do not need to wait until you get to MCO.

When I flew Spirit airlines it was not one of the airlines that was offered at Disney hotels as a check in service. I went to the hotel concierge and they were kind enough to check me in (I was within my 24 hours check in window) and they printed up my boarding passes. SWEET!

So Don't worry. Just go to the concierge and ask for help.

Now on a previous trip with Spirit we tried to check in at the resort and, unbeknownst to anyone at the time, the Spirit Airlines web site was down, so we could not check in. We had to wait until we got to the airport and that's where we found out the problem was on Spirit's end. So if the CM's at Disney are having trouble, most likely it is on the end of the airline and not the CM.

So what I do now is avoid Spirit airlines, which has crappy customer service and a bad web site. I fly with a better airline (SouthWest  ) that has a check in connection with WDW resorts and pretty good customer service and.... I know that which ever airline I fly on, if it has a web site and online check in, the Concierge at the hotel will more than likely be able to help me with that check in.

Resort Airline Check-In Service

If you're departing domestically on a designated airline, enjoy the convenience of our Resort Airline Check-in Service, which allows you to receive your return boarding pass and check luggage at your Walt Disney World hotel, bypassing airport check-in completely.

Simply visit the Resort Airline Check-In Desk located at your Walt Disney World hotel up to 3 hours prior to your flight departure time. A valid government issued photo I.D. and your hotel room key are required to participate.

Resort Airline Check-In Service is available with the following airline carriers:

AirTran Airways
Alaska Airlines
American Airlines
Delta Air Lines
JetBlue Airways

US Airways

What that means is that for the trip BACK you can check your luggage at the HOTEL and not see it again until you arrive at your home destination!

SWEET!!!!

Did you do the online check in 24 hrs before you left OMA? I've heard that if you check in online before leaving home RAC can't do this is this true or another disney mishap

Do NOT check-in for your flight yourself (as in, on your phone or laptop) if you want to use RAC. We did that the first time we flew (2011) and when we went to the RAC desk afterwards, they said they could not do anything for us. They couldn't print our passes, nor could they take our luggage. It was a disaster. Last year, we followed the instructions they gave us prior to check-out and we had no trouble at all.

Should I just check in at the airport for the flight to disney, the airport I'm flying out of is a small airport so it shouldn't be bad and I have assigned seats so that isn't a problem would this make it easier or just the return flight from mco? did you have separate flights going home ?

Both my departure and arrival flights have 2 flights, both stop in atl one of the busiest airports :scared1:

Both of my flights were direct, so I don't know how it works for connecting flights. I just know that you should not check-in yourself for your flight home if you want to use RAC. They need to do it.
