I used to watch QVC every Sunday when "In the Kitchen w/ David" was on.

Haven't seen it in quite some time though. I did catch it yesterday and saw that the Kitchen Aid lady was making one of David's recipes in her mixer.

It was a chocolate/peanut butter/cream cheese pie (in a graham cracker crust) It looked so good but I really didn't get the ingredients for it. Does anyone have this recipe?

I don't have the recipe, but I know that on the show yesterday they were really pushing his cookbook that is coming out soon. Maybe the recipe is in there??

If all else fails, I would try googling the recipe. You may find something similar. :)

Thanks. I'm pretty sure that he said the recipe would be in his cookbook but it's not coming out until the fall. LOL

I looked on google but couldnt' find it. There's one on there for a peanut butter chocolate tart but that's not it. I know the one that the Kitchen Aid lady was making had cream cheese in it.

On to more looking.

If you go to qvc.com, then to the kitchen section, scroll to the bottom of the page. On the right, you'll see a link for QVC recipes, and they have recipes listed from different hosts, including David Venable. It says there are over 200 recipes from him there - maybe it's included.

Is that the recipe where you take a package or so of oreos and run them through a food processor, then mix in a bunch of melted butter for the crust. For the pie you take a package of cream cheese, a jar of peanut butter, a tub of Cool Whip, and about a cup and a 1/2 or so of powdered sugar. I think you beat the cream cheese and peanut butter together, then toss in the sugar and finally fold in the cool whip, then chill until time to serve.

Or is it something entirely different?

I got the above chocolate cream cheese peanut butter pie recipe verbally from a relative at Christmas, and it sounded so easy that even though I haven't made it, it's still in my head, LOL!

Even though this sounds yummy, I don't think it's the recipe I'm looking for. I remember that I was ironing while this show was on, so at times, the TV was more of a background noise, instead of me actually watching it and I think this was one of those times.

I remember it being a graham cracker crust and in the Kitchen Aid Mixer there was peanut butter, cream cheese and melted chocolate. Not sure what else was in there but it sure looked yummy.

I just hope I don't have to wait until his cookbook comes out to get the recipe. LOL
