Does anybody know why so many of the hosts are leaving QVC? I am not an avid watcher, but it is entertaining to have on in the morning while I am getting ready for work, and occassionally I will channel surf to see what they are selling at that time. In the past several months Paul Deasey, Jane Rudolph Tracy, Kim Parish, and now Judy Crowell have left. I heard that today or tomorrow will be Judy's last day. So what is really going on? Any thoughts................

I just posted about Judy leaving the other day. Her last day is Wed. Judy and Paul Deasy married in Sept., so that may be part of their reasoning for leaving.

Here's some info I found on the web:

We know that Kathy left to pursue her interests as a vendor. It didn't work out.

Judy is leaving to "pursue other interests" as they say. She married Paul Deasy, another departed show host, in the fall.

Jane Traecy left "to spend time with her family"., she has a web site up and running. Jane's husband, Sean, was let go from his QVC position prior to Jane's departure.

I'm not a QVC watcher. However, my DH's cousin did at one time (not sure if she still does) go onto QVC for on air talent. Her first name is Jane, and her last name would have started with an F. She then got divorced, and I'm not certain if she kept F, or went back to B.

Kathy now has a sucessfull line of clothing and faux jewelry on the "other" channel.(HSN)

Hope this marriage lasts longer than her first one to another QVC show host ( Jeff Hewson ). Paul Deasy was married when he came to QVC from HSN. Hope Judy wasn't the reason he divorced his wife :earseek:

I saw Judy's farewell tonight. Paul Deasy brought in the cake and she showed a picture of them with his kids and a wedding picture, his 10 year old daughter was maid of honor and 13 year old son was best man. Looks like they are very happy.
