Just for a bit of fun, as me and my friend were debating which one was better. Quizno's has only just arrived in the UK, and I really love it, but my friend is insistent that Subway is better.

We need your poll to settle this argument!

Didn't know Quiznos had come over to the UK.
Never had one, and I quite like subway but find them waaaay overpriced for what you get, especially as I don't like salad so get my Subway Melt 'plain'!

There is one in the town over from where I live, and one in Brighton. Not too helpful to a northerner but hopefully they will invade more! :goodvibes

Subway has healthier options, but Quiznos is toasty. Mmmm, I'm goin' for tasty & toasty!

Quiznos. Had two terrible experiences at Subway, would not go back.

a new spin on "British Invation"... the music "Bites" :rotfl:

Quiznos is better taste wise, but is more expensive. I also find their menu to be more confusing.

See in the UK, there isn't a big price difference between Subway and Quizno's, it's about £2.80 for a small sub ($3.91). So they are both pretty pricey, but if you want certain things (always no cheese and lots of pickles) its easier than picking up a sandwich from M&S or Waitrose (my guilty pleasure).

Luke here's the website! www.quiznosuk.co.uk

Thanks, I see there's a store at the Printworks in Manchester, sometimes visit there for their nice cinema so may give it a look :thumbsup2

Still think Subway is too expensive tho, and it rarely fills me up :(

There's been a Quizno's in Belfast for about 2 years now. Its definately better than Subway, not as synthetic

Quizno's for sure! I love Quizno's .... they are more expensive, but worth it! Their bread is awesome and Subway scares me a little, their sandwhich meat is weird.

Seeing as the nearest Quizno's is 30 minutes train ride away, I'll say subway. Although, I've become more of a fan of Greggs and a independant baguette/sub place across the road (£2.30 for a 12" baguette stuffed with chicken mayo YUM! with lettuce and cucumber)

My vote is for Subway. Just had it for lunch today. Can't beat those specials for the $5.00 subs. Always get a foot long and have half today and the other half tomorrow. Yummy!!! Turkey & Whole Wheat with Light Mayo. :cool1:

while there are better sandwiches to be had, i think the quality of quiznos is FAR better than subway. they are bit more pricey, but well worth the extra money. the meat quality is better, better cheese, better bread, the only thing subway has is a better price, but i would rather spend the extra few bucks and get a better sandwich. and a word of advice STAY AWAY FROM THE PICKLES AND MEATBALLS AT SUBWAY !! the meatballs form this NASTY crust on top of them, they just stir it up and mix it in, they never change it. My friend was a manager of a subway for years, i cant tell you the sick gross stuff at that place. as for the pickles.... lets just say that one time the pickle juice was not actually pickle juice.... the employee was fired when he found out, but who knows how long people were eating a "different yellow liquid".... thats all im going to say

I have been a huge fan of subway for years but I went to quiznos for the first time about 9 months ago and have not been back to subway since. It's all about the taste.
