Hi everyone, In late March I will be staying at BWV for three nights. on my check out day I will be working all day remotely. After check out I will be homeless until Check in at OKW at 4:00 pm. I was wondering if anyone has advice on a quite place to work at BWV for the 5 hours I will be homeless. I have a Verizon MyFi card, so internet access is not as important as secluded and quite. I will just need a place to plug in my lap top.

Dwelty,
We own at BWV and have only stayed there a few times, but if I remember correctly, there is an area between the Villas and the Boardwalk Inn - more than a breezway - more like a sitting room area that I looked at once and it would be quiet. I would also just call the BWV and ask them as well. You never know, they might have either a recommendation or give you a later check out if it is available given your circumstances.

Good Luck!:thumbsup2

Just had a thought - working remotely from Disney - that sounds like FUN!

I would try the Bel Vue bar on 2nd fl lobby BWI side. They open for breakfast till 11 am then close till 5 pm. When we want some quiet time we sit there. Nice chairs to sit in and seems empty when bar not open.:goodvibes You can also go out on there porch right there too.

Great advice! I love the look and feel of this area. I did not imagine it empty during the day. I will consider this.

My thoughts exactly, the place is empty until 5 PM.

Another location might be the Attic if it isn't booked and left open.

How about the Business Center on the BWI side?

That would be my first choice. I'd also consider the convention lobby it nothing is going on and if the weather is good, the pool area and gardens on the BWI side.

So you check out at 11 am and then are checking into OKW? I would head over to OKW and see if your room is ready, and if the one they have 'assigned' you is not ready, ask them which ones are - we have usually been able to get our room early, just have to ask!

I thought about this, I think I will send the wife over to check in and see if the villa is ready. We have a HH Lock off reserved, so the inventory is lower for those rooms. Plan A is to try and get into the Villa at OKW early, plan B is to work from the BW. I don't consider working in a public area at OKW an option due to the layout of the resort.
