Hi
I had to get Isabelle a new lightweight stroller so ive bought one of these quinny Zapps, the size folded up is within the hand luggage size, has anybody sucessfully taken one on board...? it comes with its own little travel bag.

Normally we travel with my parents so theres lots of help with the kids and luggage etc but this time were flying solo so to speak.....so its going to be easier to put Isabelle straight in her buggy.

Anyone done this...?

Who are you flying with? We took one a couple of years ago as hand luggage with VA.

When it was in the bag is came out slightly larger than the max dimensions allowed but no-one measured it or made any comment. We were upstairs in PE and the overhead bins are smaller than downstairs so it didn't fit very easily. The cabin crew just took it and stored it in a wardrobe at the rear of PE for us.

Not sure if they have tightened up on hand luggage since.

yep flying with virgin, i was planning on taking it right up to past the last gate where you normally fold them up to hand them in and then just fold it there to take on the plane, were not upstairs so hopefully should be a problem, will make life much easier the other end.
