Quickest Walking Route From Marriott?

We will be staying at the Marriott on Convention Way. Being two (semi :lmao:)-fit adults, we prefer to walk to the park. I'm trying to look on Google Maps, but they are always a little weird with walking directions. Which is the quickest way? Is there an entrance if we just continue on S. Harbor Blvd? Or do we walk down W Katala Ave. and turn onto West St I think it is? We don't care about scenic routes, we just want to get into the park! Thanks!

When you come out of the Marriott, turn right and walk down West Convention Way to Harbor Blvd. Turn left and walk about two blocks to the DL entrance. Estimated walk time, 15 minutes.

Awesome, thank you so much. This is way easier than the walking directions Google was trying to give me!

That is most likely the fastest way, and you'll pass 7-11 if you want to pick up water or soda on your way into the parks, or get a snack on the way back to the hotel.

I'm going to say it might take you more like 20 minutes, depending on how fast or slow you walk, and how long you have to wait for the light at Harbor and Katella.

If you want to go to Downtown Disney or have a character meal at Surf's Up or Goofy's Kitchen, I'd suggest an alternate route. There's a walkway that takes you from the Marriott along the side of the convention center and out onto Katella. (It starts just past the Hilton, which is across the street from the Marriott. There a nice landscaped area between them. Just follow the signs for the convention center.) If you turn left and cross the street at the light (at the Anabella) onto Disneyland Drive, you can cut through the lobby of the Grand Californian and out into Downtown Disney (or follow the signs to the Paradise Pier or Disneyland hotels).

I don't think it's faster for entering the parks, but it is an alternate route if you have plans on that side of the resort.

Good point! :thumbsup2
