My plans have changed and I need expert help, please! I will be flying in and meeting up with the family already at the park, probably DHS. Since I won't have luggage can I head straight to the park or do I have to go to ASMu first? :confused3 What is the quickest way to get to the park, and what time could I expect to get there? Would it be possible for a 2:30 ressie? Or we could switch parks and go to MK that day. (I just want to get the most out of the day.)
THANKS!

Well, we don't know if a 2:30 reservation is possible because you don't say what time your flight arrives.

If you TRULY have NO luggage, including no carry-on that was fine on the plane but needed to be placed under the bus because there are no overhead compartments on the bus (just a shelf) and nothing too big to keep in your lap, AND your All Star bus HAPPENS to stop at a resort that's closer to DHS before it goes to All Star Music, the bus driver isn't going to force you to stay on the bus. You can get off anywhere and take a bus from that resort to DHS.

Yes, you must board the DME bus destined for All-Star Music, however, it sounds like your family will already be there and have you checked in. If you have minimal carryon that you are willing to carry with you for the day, then you might be able to save a little time.

So, just board your designated bus and just get off at the first stop it makes. Then head immediately to the resort bus stop and proceed to DHS.

I did this once when I was flying in and a friend had already checked us in to the room. I was going to Coronado Springs, I had only a tiny carryon bag that I was willing to carry and had it with me on the bus, not underneath. The DME bus stopped at Pop Century first, so I just hopped off there, and headed to the DTD bus stop. My roomie met me at DTD, so I retrieved my room key from her at that time.

Sorry, my flight lands at 10:30. I will only have a small, very lightweight backpack that I am more than happy to carry into the park if it will save me time. Plus, the family can have my ticket and meet me at the front.

Typical DME travel time is 70 to 90 minutes from stepping off the jetway into the terminal, to stepping off the bus at your resort. Assuming your bus is on time, that would get you to your - or some - resort about noon. Yes, you can make a 2:30 reservation.

In that case, you should be good to go. You should get to ASMu no later than around noon, giving you plenty of time to get to DHS by Disney bus for a 2:30 p.m. reservation. If the DME bus happens to stop at BWI or YC/BC on the way to ASMu (no clue if they ever share the same DME route, so this may be very unlikely) you could get to the park a little bit faster.

The Allstars have never been on a route with the Epcot resorts in the past...I can't imagine they would be in the future. But, who knows.
In any case, if the OP doesn't mind having that backpack with her, then she can get off at the first resort the DME bus stops at and then hop right onto the DHS bus there.
Even if she went to AllStarMusic first, dropped off her bag and got onto the DHS bus then, she would still have no issue getting there for a 2:30 ADR. If the flight lands ontime, at 10:30, she should be at ASMu by noon, and on the DHS bus by 12:30....allowing time to drop off her bag. Then, she should be entering DHS by 1pm, no later.
