Hey @team bradfield ,

Can you give us an update and/or pics on the DVC cabin buildout? By this time of 2025, it's been about 15 months since the work started. Are all the cabins (I think 2700 was one of the last legacy cabin loops) all built out and completed? All decks built? Is the big open grassy field that's been a staging area for this project still got equipment and fence and people?

The original estimate in Jan 2024 was that the staging area was the first indication of the start of the buildout and would thus be the last indication that the work was finished when it was vacated (and they reseed/resod that area) and time time line was approximately 18 months. So my expectation is that some work is continuing but not much left.

Any insight you can share would be appreciated.

Not to put more work on you, my brother, but I think that is newsworthy enough for a new thread on the main camping board.

I was there for this past Halloween week Trick-or-Treating and we really missed ALL that former parking in the overflow field that was NOT available. It was still a construction staging lot back then.

Otherwise, enjoy your stay at the Fort (the few days that are left) and thanks for the info.
