Quick trip.. Where to stay?

Oh no, not another thread asking for advise on where to stay.

But seriously, taking a quick four day trip in May with the whole crew (2 girls- 8yrs & 14 mos, wife, me). Want to split stay half and half. Was thinking maybe 2 days AS-movies then 2 at CBR. Or 2 at CBR then 2 at AKL or WL. Ugghh... Tough choices.

I don't really like the All-stars, but I know, well assume, the kids will. These would be standard rooms (think budget) as we still plan on coming down for a week during the summer. Of course, I suppose there is some chance we could get upgraded to a savannah view at AKL if lucky.

I'd also like to surprise the wife with one of those fancy spa packages. Is the GF Spa my only option for that? Would the spa at AKL be good?

I vote for at least 2 nights at AKL...it is a wonderful resort...all stars isn't bad but I've only stayed there once and it aws without kids...

Thanks for the reply. I've stayed at AS Movies before so I kind of know what to expect there. My wife really seems interested in CBR, and the better pool there as well as the beach, playground, etc should be enough to make the kids happy also. The big question is choosing between AKL and WL. WL's proximity to Magic Kingdom may be the deciding factor.

Another vote for AKL. Maybe you'll get that upgrade you mentioned. She can have tons of spa treatments right there at the fitness center-massages, facials, etc. I'll try to find you the link to the info about the spa services there.

Definately do AKL at least part of the time.

If you do decide to do WL because of the closeness to MK, you'll still have a wonderful time.

There are some codes out for May. You may be able to get some nice deals but I would call as soon as possible.

2 days ALMo and then move to AKL. Those are my favorite resorts.

The room size at ALMo doesn't bother me. Just wish they had room service besides pizza.

Ya'll are making this tough. I had my (our) mind set on WL until now.

Nice dilemma to have I suppose. Either way, I'm sure we'll have a blast.
