We're planning a 5 day trip. It'll be myself, my 17 yo son who is autustic, my friend and her two granddaughters-6 and 8. Everyone but the granddaughters have been there 7 or more times. We will be on the dining plan(snack, counter, table per day)
We are thinking about mainly characters buffets for dinner for the table service part of the plan. Definitely on the list is Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey, possibly the Norway dinner. My son definitely has the teenage appetite and we want the girls to have money's worth of food, not just the chicken fingers/mac and cheese.
Is the Norway dinner a buffet and have more American food on it? My son loves attention from girls so he'll be in his element with the princesses if they will interact with him (I took him to the palace bkft when he was 7 and nonverbal and he had his autograph filled with kisses from the princesses, in the pictures he had a huge smile).
Prime Time may be out because of the girls being shy.
Liberty Tree Tavern is probably out-too Thanksgiving-like for early November.
Is there still a GF character dinner-what is the food like?
If not buffets, at least good food that will appeal to the kids-we can find something on the menu for us.
