quick to/fro dtd - shuttle from mco?

My daughter and I are getting dropped off at MCO after disembarking from a cruise. The least expensive flight leaves at 7:50pm, so we could potentially have eight hours of free time.

Is there a shuttle from MCO to DTD? Can we pay for DME even though we are only there for a few hours? Or should I look at Mears?

Hard to be in Orlando and not have a touch of Disney (we are not on a Disney cruise.)

If you book Mears, you might be put on a DME bus. Or you could try renting a car for the day, you might have more leeway as to travel time that way.
