DD7 is eating carrots & dip with her dinner. I just realized that the carrots are "ready to cook" carrots. Is it ok if she eats them raw? I don't figure she'll really eat too many anyways, but I want to make sure it won't make her sick. What do you think?

(I thought all carrots were ok raw, but this makes me wonder. Most baby carrots say ready-to-eat on the package...)

I'm fairly certain the "ready to cook" part just means they are already peeled and ready to cook. No prep needed. They are fine to eat raw. They aren't orange hot dogs. :p

Ready to cook means that they have been cleaned and prepared to be cooked. But yes, they can be eaten raw, like all carrots ;)

You would think that I could've figured that out on my own. Oh well...add me to the "Yes, some people really are that stupid" thread on the community board! Thanks!
