Quick Service Plan vs Table Service Plan???

I need someone to check and see if I am adding this up right.
We will be four adults and three teens. We will be at WDW for seven nights. QS for one person that will be $30 x 7 = $210
TS for one person would be $40 x 7 = $280
We want to eat at CRT $40, CP $20 and Boma $30. So, with the QS plan that would be $300.
If we get the TS we would have to pay for the refillable mug $12 and an extra snack a day $4 x 7 = $21. That total would be $313.
So I figure it would be cheaper to do the Quick Service Plan and pay for our Table Service meals. Am I figuring this out right?
Thanks so much, Pam F

True, however it looks like you only have 4 T.S. credits listed so you should be entitled to the 7. Also tax is already included so you'd have to figure that in too if you are going to pay o.o.p.

Also, when we've been on the basic ddp. we usually cannot even finish all our snacks let alone 2 snacks per day so I really don't think you'll need them.
Plus, we end up splitting alot of meals because its soo much food.

In September on our last day, between 2 adults we still had 6 counter service credits and 5 snacks left over.

For $70 more you get those 3 TS meals you listed plus 3 more, seems like a no brainer to go with the TS plan. Even if not making plans is why you want the QS plan you can walk up to Beaches and Cream and ESPN Club as they do not take ADRs.

As for the mugs we didn't find we needed one, but you could buy a couple and see if they are needed. You get beverages with every meal and you can use snack credits for drinks too. One tip: CS breakfasts come with 2 beverages, so let's say the teens share a breakfast, they both can grab a bottled beverage to take to the park and still have a CS credit to share at lunch (many CS meals are sharable). The mugs are only good at the resort, not in the parks so they will still need to bring or buy beverages (or comp. water) while in the parks.

I'm a bit biased toward the TS plan, and for my eating style don't think the QS plan would be value based on the "numbers". Having had the TS plan before I know that suits me.

I'd do the TS, too.
Does anyone know what the cost for the child TS and QS plan is? When I search DIS, I get too many hits, and when I look on WDW website, I've seen the details but not the cost.
Thanks!

You also have to pay for tips at the TS meals now- something else to figure in on 7 meals.

I think we are going to go with the CS plan ourselves. We want to do 2 TS meals (Ohanas breakfast and Trails End dinner). Even paying out of pocket we will still come out cheaper.
CS plan-4 A and 1 C--$903, plus 2TS (oop) $152 = $1055 plus tip on 2 TS meals 70 CS meals and 70 snacks too

TS plan-4A and 1C--$1197 plus tips for 7 TS meals plus 5 mugs $60 (if we were to buy them) =$1257 35 CS meals and 35 TS meals and 35 snacks

I also dont want to spend too much time at TS places. I would rather be in the parks or at the resort enjoying the ammenities. Seems like a TS everyday would be timeconsuming.

On the 2 snack a day issue, I am figuring on using one snack for a breakfast item as we go into the parks in the mornings-except for our Ohana day. That takes care of breakfast (we usually eat something on the go at home too) and leaves 2 CS and one snack for the day.

I'd do the TS, too.

TS- $10.99
CS-$8.99

mousesavers has info on the plans

For $70 more we would get a total of 13 meals (CRT is 2 credits)
With the QS we get 14 meals plus the three we would pay for=17 meals.
I have always done the Table Service, but this time I really think the QS would be better for us.
Thanks for the help. Pam F
