Quick Service fried chicken

We have been to Disney tons of times. We have eaten at all different places. Today my husband says "where can I get some good fried chicken in Disney?"
I couldn't answer him, I don't eat it and never paid attention. I asked "isn't all the chicken fried" apparently its not the same.. I guess he is looking for legs, thighs and such..
So does anyone know if and where we can get fried chicken at a quick service location for my DH when we go to Disney world in May?

It's not CS, but 50's Prime Time Cafe in DHS has good fried chicken. It's $15.99 comes with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans.

You can find menus on allears.net but 50s is the only one that comes to mind for me.

The food court at POP Century has fried chicken select days (AllEars lists it Saturday, Sunday, Monday). Other than that, I don't know of any places in the parks that have it.

NOTE: Polo Campero is in the old McDonald's food court
in Downtown Disney. It is basically fast food. In my opinion,
it is highly overpriced mediocre dry chicken. From others who
have eaten there, they have said their meals were not up to
the quality or taste of Chick-Fil-A. They have a long way
to go to bring up the quality to acceptable standards.

My parents are staying at POP, so we could go back to their resort for a meal. (then again we resort hop as our break from the parks most days anyway)


Thanks for the review on Pollo Campero. I have no desire to eat there, but my husband wanted to try it. I plan to head over to Wolfgang Puck express for some yumminess.

If you are considering doing a dinner show...Hoop Dee Doo Review has really good fried chicken and you get absolute heaps of it. If not, I believe Trails End has the same fried chicken.
