Hi everyone,

I so appreciated all of the reviews here that I wanted to share mine.

11/20: Birthday dinner at the Wave. Great food, service and bd treat!

11/21:Bk at Captain's Grille, a la carte, great food
Lunch at Earl of Sandwich; only ok, didn't like the bread, not quite what we had expected.
Dinner: Captain's Grille; great steak, enjoyed by all

11/22: Boma breakfast buffet...quite a haul from YC and THV, decent buffet
Counter service at Flame Tree, enjoyed by all
Big River Grill for dinner...worst meal, nothing tasted fresh and flavorful. Poor choice on our part.

11/23: bkfast at Captain's Grille, enjoyed buffet
Dinner was at Narcoosee's; it was good but their bread is nothing more than a basic loaf of white bread. Needs improvement!!! Dinners were enjoyed by all but nothing fantastic. Most of us had surf and turf.

11/24: Crystal Palace bkfast; great!
CS lunch at MK and I can't remember where but enjoyed by all.
Dinner at Via Napoli; everyone liked the food. DGS loved their pizza, pasta dishes were very good.

11/25: Lunch at Sci-Fi, really good food and shakes!
Thanksgiving dinner at Cape May. I was disappointed. Last time we were at WDW for Tgiving had a wonderful buffet at YC in their convention center. Had both regular buffet and turkey with all of the fixings but it just wasn't as good as we had hoped for.

11/26: Character bkfast at Cape May. great character interactions, food was good.
Lunch was at Hurricane Hannah's and very good.
Dinner: Yachtsman Steakhouse and it was by far the best meal of the week. Steaks were great, better than Narcoosee's. Bread yummy, desserts good.

11/27: Lunch at Beaches and Cream. We arrived around 12:30, no wait, few in restaurant. Then everyone was there and wait time went from none to 30+ minutes. Great food, loved the sundaes and saw 3 Kitchen sinks made and eaten!!

We were on the dining plan. DH, dgs and I were on the regular. DDs and sil were on deluxe. We had trouble using all of their TS. It was hot so we wanted more water than anything else for snacks...altho lots of mickey bars were eaten! DDS never used their refillable mugs. They stayed at THV and it was next to impossible to get to the Artist's Palette from their villa. They had to ask at the resort about them because they were not told where to get them and wouldn't have received them if I hadn't asked what they looked like!

We would probably have been better off with just the regular dining plan for everyone. The CS were easily shared, especially when we had a character bkfast. Never went hungry, had plenty of snacks. We had 14 left on Sat. that were used but still a lot left! We spent little OOP other than tips and adult beverages.

I LOVED the grey goose slushies (so did dd and sil).

I thought the quality and quantity of food was fine. I never felt looked down upon because of meal plan. Wait staff did great with the 2 plans. Never had poor service anywhere. Wait times were not bad at all. Via Napoli was taking walk-ups the night we were there. Never felt rushed at any meal. So those are my quick reviews and impressions.

I enjoy reading all kinds of reviews--pictures or no pictures--so thanks for posting!

Thank you for sharing! We are thinking of doing Yachtsman Steakhouse on our next trip. Would it be appropriate for a 6 year old? He is very used to eating out. Also, have you been to Le Cellier before? If so, can you compare Yachtsman to Le Cellier?

We had our 5 & 6 y/o grandsons with us. They were fine, enjoyed the meal, especially the S'Mores for desert. It is not a stuffy restaurant. We stayed at the YC and found it very kid friendly.(sometimes people worry about that!)
I have not eaten at Le Cellier but we really enjoyed our meal at the Yachtsman.
Hope this helps!
