Very interested in this- mostly because I always get mistaken for being much younger! Just tonight, we were talking about age at a restaurant, and our waiter totally thought I was a few years younger than my real age. I'm 18, but I could pass for 14 easily.

Well that's my dd I was going to post a picture of her on this thread too after the OP came back and told the age of her picture and the story behind it but since she never came back I just gave up, my dd could passed for a middle school student and looks totally young for her age, whenever she got married three yrs. ago the wedding planner thought it was me getting married and just bringing a child with me..haha

Sounds similar to what happened to me while I was at Sephora a few months ago. I was having them help me get ready for prom (I'm hopeless with makeup!). This woman walks up and asks something to the effect of "Why are you putting makeup on that 11 year old?" I explained that I was 18 getting ready for my senior prom!

I had DD#1 at 21. She was in the NICU for 33 days after birth, anyway to get to the NICU you had to walk thru the ped unit. One day on my way to see my daughter one lady asked me who I was visiting in the unit... her mouth dropped open when I said my daughter in the NICU, she was like your 14 what are you doing with a daughter... I laughed and said I'm 21. I dont think she believe me...

Hee - I am 34 and was mistaken for a college freshman last week at Bed Bath & Beyond.

OP, I have no idea how old the person in the photo is. The angle is not face-on and we can't really see the teeth. She is wearing bulky clothes so you cannot see her body. And the female in the picture has one of those faces that I think looks kind of old. She could be 8 or she could be 38.

I just really want to know the answer.

Looking at the bigger picture, it's deceiving. I really think she could be in her 40's given the "laugh lines" around her mouth. But she could also be around 12.

It's hard to tell with the big bathrobe. You can't see any body shape. That's important to determine a female's age.

Could you post another photo of the same person? It looks like she's about 13 in this photo if I had to guess.
