Ok, Just to inform you im VERY cautious about how much i weigh. Now i went into the bathroom tonight and weighed myself like i normally do. I weighed 117 pounds!!
Do you guys think thats alot?
Should i start a diet?

no you should most definatly not start a diet.

and that's really good. like me, i'm like a lot heavier than that.

how tall/old are yoU?
 
Kids shouldn't worry so much about weight. I know that's like saying dogs shouldn't bark, it's still going to happen.

I don't think that that is a lot. But if you do want to lose some weight, I just recommend not eating any candy and drinking only water, but eat everything else like regular.
 

if anything your under weight. like not severly but you are deffinately not over AT ALL!!!
 
I'm 14. I'm 5'8. I weigh 175. 50lb are muscle. So w/out my muscle I weigh 125.

Don't worry about your weight. The only time you should worry about you weight is when your doctor is worried about your weight! :hug: Your fine sweetie! Don't diet. But if you are concerned with your health, try to get out and jog now that spring is here. :)
 
Most definately not!
I'm 11 in May i'll be 12 in May and i'm 4"8 and I'm 68 pounds. I should be concerned about putting on a few pounds rather than taking some off. Unless your five I wouldn't be worried.
 
117? Alot? Diet?

I would kill to be that weight again.
I am happy to be the weight I am (around 145, if anyone cares) but I could certainly stand to lose a few of the extra that I've picked up.
 
No you should most defiantly not diet! Do not worry, get this off your mind. Worrying about being fat, when you are in reality skinny, is bad and can lead to problems. You are a perfectly fine weight, and you are beautiful.
 
hmm i'm 13 5ft tall. i weigh 101 pounds.
i don't worry bout my weight unless i look fat, wich i dont think i do
 
Hayley, 117 pounds for a 14 year old is not at all bad! That is probably a perfect weight, or maybe you could even use to gain a few pounds [I'm no expert!] My guess that by being 117lbs you certainitly don't look fat, so I wouldn't be concerned at all. I don't even weigh myself anymore, hte numbers are horrible, I base it on how I look, because like Brit{vballqt} said, she weighs near 140 but its muscle not fat, therefore she looks fine and skinny for being that weight.

Don't worry so much about you weight, if you were 14 and 217lbs then you should be concerned. Just live life, don't step on the scale, worrying too muchh will lead to problems that you don't need to deal with. If you want to be a healthier person you can run, get in shape, tone your muscles and eat less junk. No dieting, just be healthy.

hate to do this but im 10 and im 140 of course 67% of it is muscle (i whent for a check up and they do that)
 
nooooo! you don't need to diet!!!! you are a normal weight.
i'm 5'6, 145 lbs (thanks to a nice growth spurt in my upper region)
i'm trying to shed a few pounds for the spring and for prom, but i'm trying to tone myself more than eat less and such.

but at 117 lbs! you have NOTHING to worry about chick!:goodvibes
 
You are not fat.
That's perfectly normal, do not diet, don't do anything drastic. If you feel this way, you could exercise more and eat healthier. That way, it's good for you. You might not lose weight, but you'll probably feel better about yourself.
