Our wedding was Oct. 20 and we arrived Oct. 19. I left to stay with my daddy a few days before the wedding and got last minute stuff done (finished the announcements, confirmed itineraries for guests, went to a day spa, etc.). My gown was at a shop near his house, so I picked it up the morning of the 19th and drove down to Orlando (about 2 hours away from his town). That night we had a mini rehearsal (just a run-through on the Sunrise Terrace) and dinner, and got married the next day. It all worked out perfectly! DH wore a suit, so tuxedos weren't an issue, the person who did my hair was my personal hairdresser for a year so we had a run-through and that was all confirmed well in advance, and my best friend and I already went over how she and my MOH were to decorate the Terrace, so there wasn't anything at Disney that I needed to do. I know a lot of brides arrive 2 or 3 days before, but it just wasn't necessary for us. Plus, DH and I have APs so we're at Disney often and didn't need extra time in the parks. If you have stuff to finish, tuxedos to rent, etc. or want to do more at Disney, then arriving 2 days before the wedding would be a good idea.
