quick question about park hoppers from Vons

My MIL will be buying a park hopper from Vons for our trip to DLR on monday. Does she just take that ticket to the gate and get her "real" ticket from them or does she have to stand in line at the ticket booth?

I BELIEVE she will go to the ticket booth to show an ID and get a ticket the first time she uses it. Then, she goes through the gate.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

A little different but here is what happened for me..

I got my 4 day hopper from DL and printed out temp ticket instead of getting it mailed. I took paper with bar code to gate on the first day. They scanned it and printed out a regular ticket on the spot in a few seconds.

I thought maybe we could just take the ticket from vons to the gate and they would give her the real ticket there since that would be the advantage of buying it at vons instead of buying it at the gate but I don't know. I guess if no one else knows for sure I will try to find a CM to ask before we get in line.

Actually, i didn't realize you could buy 1 day park hoppers online (i thought they only had multi-day tickets online) so maybe we'll just print it from home and then take it to the gate. So, just to clarify, the paper ticket we print out at home we just take to the gate, right?

We bought 2fers from Vons before we got our APs and they were the actual tickets. We just went straight to the turnstiles. I think the PHs are the same thing.

The cashier at Vons will give her 2 receipts. One that the ticket was activated and one that it was purchased. Make sure she keeps both with her when she goes to the park incase the ticket doesn't work.
