So, I've been doing this long enough, and I think I know the answer to this, but I thought that I'd throw it out there.
We have an AKV stay coming up in August. We bought the premium AP vouchers and have linked them in MDE. However, I assume that we will still have to redeem them at Guest Services at a park or DTD. So here is the rub. We will be arriving late at AKV. When we check in, I assume that our MagicBands will only work for room entry and we will have to go to Guest Services at the park the next morning to have the APs added to them. Is this correct?
Also adding to the fun, when I went in to add this trip to MDE today, apparently the folks going with us had already linked the reservation, so it showed up when I added them as friends. However, I notice that for my wife and daughter, their "characters" don't show up next to their name (though mine did). Last time this happened, it seemed like it wasn't their real MDE account linked (just a name) and that their APs didn't link to the band (I hope this makes sense). Should I contact MS to make sure that they have the correct MDE accounts linked to the reservation as there is not a place that I can change them on MDE.
