Quick Project Linus question

I finally finished my blankets for Project Linus today and am ready to ship them! Is it ok if I send them through UPS or does it have to be regular mail?

I sent my first 2 blankets U.S. Post in a flat rate box with a delivery confirmation receipt. I sent it on a Monday and it was received on Wed. I mailed my 3rd blanket the same way, and I mailed it on March 8 and it was received March 9.

I sent our 8 UPS ground - they were delivered the next afternoon.

I chose UPS because of the size of the box with 8 blankets, and because tracking and confirmation is more reliable with UPS scanners than with the postal service confirmations - at the office, we've used postal service priority with confirmation in the past and had items be reported as delivered when in fact they weren't... and we received them back a few days later. The cost for my huge 8-blanket box on UPS ground was about $13.
