I have bought and made it. It makes a great French toast bread.

Same here! Making it is fun, but we also have a local bakery that makes delicious challah every week. Love it for French toast, bread pudding, strata, etc.

I love challah! I usually buy it, but there’s something special about homemade. The process is so satisfying, especially when it comes out warm and golden. Do you make it yourself?
