Are any of the rooms at the Poly connecting?
I am traveling with father--in-law with Alzheimers...we want him to have privacy (he snores bad)....but still be close....connecting rooms seem to be the answer...But my TA just informed me that the Poly has no connecting rooms? I seemed to remember someone here saying they did. Thanks, I would hate to have to change my res. now knowing how full that time of year is.

Hi!

The Poly does indeed have connecting rooms. I was in a room in the Samoa longhouse (1609) that had a connecting door to the adjacent room. I've heard there are also connecting rooms in the Tokelau longhouse as well. Please remember that connecting rooms is only a 'request' and they'll try their best to fulfill it but it isn't guaranteed.

You might want to check out Steve Siefert's website (do a google search for 'tikiman'). He has a wealth of information on there about the Poly.

Hope this helps! :thumbsup2

Yes, there are connecting rooms at the Poly. Don't know where your TA got that information.:confused3 Put in a request for connecting rooms for medical reasons and you should get one. I agree with tikiman's website, it has everything you ever wanted to know about the Poly.:thumbsup2

Yes, our room in Tokelau was connecting.

There are connecting rooms - in fact our TA requested one for us since we are traveling with my parents on this trip so they can watch DD if DH and I want a night out.

Our room in Tokelau had a connecting door.

Tahiti had connecting rooms too. Also has the bigger rooms-- but a bit out of the way...
