Quick little Maxpass question...

Does anyone have experience getting Maxpass for the same ride twice? When could you get a new Fastpass for the ride? For example, if I got a Space MP at 12:00 with the return time of 3-4, could I automatically get a new Space MP at 3 or would I need to use it first to get a new Space MP? Can anyone confirm from personal experience either way?

It’s my understanding you can’t hold 2 fast passes for the same ride.

You can have multiple fast passes as with Maxpass you can get another one after 90 minutes after scheduling a fastpass. So at noon you could get a SM fastpass return time of 4 but at 1:30 you can say get a fast pass for Indy for 5pm. So you’d be holding multiple fast passes at once.

Nope. You can't get a fastpass for the same ride until you have used the first fastpass or its window has expired. If you get a fastpass for Space at noon using Maxpass, then you can get another fastpass at 1:30, but it can't be for Space or for any other ride you are holding an unused fastpass for. If 3:00 rolls around and you haven't used your Space fastpass, you still can't get a Space fastpass again even if you are eligible to get a fastpass for something at that time. As soon as you scan in on Space though even if you haven't ridden yet and assuming you have internet service on your phone still (can be spotty in some queues), then you can grab another Space fastpass if they are still available.

We have done this in the queue for Space - now you have to wait until after you scan the second time where the FP and Standby line merge.
