Hello, all! I've seen this board, but I've just finally decided to venture down and see what's here...
I'm Raindayplay, Rainyday for short, or Kim for even shorter! I have a DD (almost 5!). I'm a teacher in Alabama, so most of the year, it's difficult to keep up with the scrapbookking habits. I have been scrapping for two years now -- my first one chronicaled a trip to Atlanta.
I am the proud owner of a Cricut Expression (And use it for things in my classroom...so I always look for cartridges I can use at school...)
Now that I'm out for summer vacation...and heading back to the World in 11 days....I'm trying to get the book for our October trip finished. I have yet to do a professional-looking page like I've seen other people do, but I love what I've done, and that's what counts!
On a side note...I "cheated" this year. I gave my students sheets 8.5"x11" sheets of card stock and offered them a test grade if they would do a scrapbook page for me -- anything they wanted for me to remember them by. I actually got some awesome pages back from these kids, especially my 8th graders, who won't get to have me again. Best idea I ever had!
Can't wait to share ideas!
