I'm trying to put together PS's for the June surprise trip. I wanted to make a lunch reservation for Hollywood and Vine (I know there are no characters there anymore), but the CM said no lunch at all. Is this right? I'll just do dinner, but I'd prefer lunch since a sit down meal in air conditioning tends to recharge the kids.

Yeah, lunch is being discontinued too. Don't know when it happens, but I think if it hasn't closed for lunch yet, it will be shortly. That was announced when they stopped the breakfast too.

Sucks 'cause now there are really no sitdowns that my family likes to eat at.

Just a suggestion maybe you could do a early dinner (4pm if they offer that early) so you could do it as the Fantasmic Dinner Package.

I guess I'll have to do the dinner, and so long as I am I guess I may as well do the Fantasmic package since that will at least eliminate one wait. I am really bummed about this since Prime Time is so inconsistent with food (good or just ok) and not much more than burgers are available at Sci-fi that taste good. Brown Derby is nice, but not a real exciting place for younger children. I really hope they have something else in the works, because if summer is busy the restaurants that are left will be jammed. Thanks for your help and suggestions!

WDW would be just as well closing this restaurant. What is the point in only serving dinner. Sorry for venting but I used to really like having lunch with Minnie!!
