Okay, my vote is for DesertCat/AZCat. Back when the Tomorrowland games opened, someone started a wish list for space suits. I really, really wanted one but was awful at the game, so I added my name to the list. Mal was updating the list constantly, and I noticed that people who were on the list after me had been gifted. I didn't know at the time that they were gifted by friends, family, etc. To be honest, my feelings were pretty hurt and I asked if there was a reason why I was passed over. Mal quickly explained that there was no order and she felt pretty badly that I was hurt. Although I felt better after reading her post, I soon received a PM from a perfect stranger, AZCat (who has since changed his name to DesertCat) asking me to meet him in VMK. He gifted me a space suit and yellow Hong Kong chair and he didn't even know me! I think that this caliber of player exemplifies what Disney is all about - being kind and selfless and making another person happy. I have never forgotten this random act of kindness, and although my description probably did not do it justice, it still warms my heart to think on it.

While I have met MANY kind DIS’ers, both in VMK and in real life, I recently was overwhelmed by the kindness of April In Disney aka Melkrirob.

Rob came up with the idea to become my pal when I was running a round of secret pals and was worried I didn’t have the time to devote to a pal. I had planned to sit out, but she would have none of that. I was in my last quarter of school, DS was finishing up the year and DH was, well, being DH. LOL Rob was there whenever I needed to talk. She made me realize just how magical these boards are in how they connect each other. She surprised me with random VMK gifts, all under the guise of a mule so that I was left guessing who was who until the end. It was so much fun, and it helped free me of some stress.

A few weeks ago, I went to WDW and had the pleasure of meeting both Rob and her daughter. What a treat! They both knew that the trip was in honor of my DS birthday, and they went out of their way to make both he and I feel special. Rob spent the afternoon with DS and I, Mickeysmagic and her daughter, and DisAeryn. We caught Turtle Talk and chatted away like we had been friends for years. After Magic and her daughter took off for dinner ressies, Rob and her daughter, DisA and I hung out in MouseGears and continued our chat. It was so great for me to meet in person the friend that I had come to cherish.

Before parting, Rob’s daughter slipped my DS a key to a locker at Epcot and told him what was in it was for him. Being completely into Pirates right now, and all things treasure related, he couldn’t WAIT to open that locker. He was so overwhelmed that someone had gotten him a present that it brought a huge smile to his face. More than that, he had made a new friend of his own to meet up with on our future trips. Our friendships were the best souvenir that we left WDW with.

Because of her amazing heart and the support system she has been to me, I truly feel that April in Disney deserves this prize!

About 7 months ago, the Zetas held a secret pal round. CL_TigressJewel was the pal I was to secretly gift. I ended up giving my identity away very early in the round due to my "talkativeness". LOL! But what I gained instead was a beautiful friendship with my not-so-secret-anymore pal! Over the months our friendship has grown. Her kindness is not about virtual gifts; it is the giving of herself to me that is the greatest kindness of all and the greatest gift. Jewel is always available to listen or talk, whether it be first thing in the morning or late at night; whether it be on VMK, in private messages, or in IM chat (that sometimes can go on for hours). When I am on the verge of tears, she cheers me up and makes me laugh again. When I am being silly, she is right there beside me acting just as silly. She is Pink's dance partner and her ghosting partner, and she is Kimberly's real life "bestest" girl friend.

I love you, girl! You truly are a beautiful "Jewel"! Your friendship is far more valuable than any precious stone...

Oh, there are so many wonderful DISers who are so kind and giving and selfless in and out of VMK. I hope no one feels slighted by not being picked.

I would like to nominate Disvaclub, because I have watched her spend countless hours helping others play that blasted Haunted Mansion game for quest after quest. (Can you tell I continue to be bad at it??) She is always friendly and helpful to everyone around her. I've watched her encourage frustrated kids (and adults!) and never be anything except upbeat and positive to everyone around her.

Well, this might sound petty but...

Awhile back, when I had just started VMK, I was trying to get rare without much rare of my own.Kingsfoil kindly told me what I had was rare and helped me know what a good deal was, and how to avoid being scammed. Later, when everyone was obsessed with the Buzz Lightyear game, Kingsfoil had spent alot of time playing it. He boviously didn't need them and decided to gift me several Buzz Cup pins. I asked what he wanted for them and he simply checked the accept and asked me to do so too. Kingsfoil really is a kind DIS'erand enjoys gifting others.

I would like to nominate Cazalet and Ladybodaciea for being so generous picking up those Disneyland exclusive cards for DISers who can't get there. They are both so good about giving them the items to people, and not expecting anything in return.

And they really went above and beyond when they went picking through the trash to get more cards that others had thrown away.

First I want to thank everyone who took the time to respond. I realize not everyone was online but there was no way to make sure that was the case. I will do this again.

I was just feeling that sometimes we forget the great things about everyone on the DIS and in a small way this might help to remind us that the people on the DIS are the best in the world.

Anyone who knows me, knows there is no way I could possibly pick one person from these great stories so, each person who was nominated will receive a special gift along with those who took the time to nominate them!

I'd like to nominate CL_BlueReap. As one of my first friends (I'm sure...), I couldn't ask for a better friend. As an all-around nice person, CL_BlueReap makes everyone feel good. I do not think it matters that she gifted or not - but she has - but it's the friendship that is the reason to have her entered in the 'feel good' contest. She has gone over the top, outside the box, however you say it, to be a good friend. And as for today, CL_BlueReap cheered me up just with her "hellos"!

It's the enthusiasm and thought that counts.

I really wanted a spacesuit and was offering for one a few days ago and she noticed that I was offering practicly ALL my rare! She PMed me and told me that she hates seeing people paying too much. She told me someoen offered a Space suit and she said no but could make an offer to that person to get the spacesuit for me. Two days later she told me to meet her on VMK. She had my spacesuit!!! It only cost me 3 items instead of 6 or 7 of my most rare.

Aww... thanks Idol_Fan. I'm having a rough few days (my grandfather's birthday would've been this weekend), and that really made me smile. I would've given it to you for free, but I can't even load the game anymore (back when I could, I could never get past level 3 anyway), so I had to trade for it myself first. SnowSally when everybody is fighting snow is a peace maker when there is a fight snowsally tries to stop it she never joins the fight just tries to make us happy and it always works she brings people up when they down and on the dis she makes good threads and does not care when other people make typos

DisneyLlama - thank you so much for saying that about me. I have to admit that it was a whole DIS effort - so many people gratiously helped with ghosts and "rocking the box" to get those green and pink guys shaking.
