I'm so confused since FB changed things around.

Can someone explain the difference between "News Feed" and "Live Feed?"

I miss the way it used to be.

You can switch things back to the way that they used to be by going to the left side of the screen and click on "Status Updates" and drag it to the top of the list (above New Feeds).

It appears to me Live Feed is the way it use to be. News Feed means you have to manually update it.

That doesn't change it back totally to the way it was. It does make it so all yu get are status updates. However to see any links or photos people post you have to click on those links separately. On the left side.

I've been trying to figure out why I don't see any links or photos on the right side of my screen anymore. Anyone know how to get those back?

Hasn't worked well for me, either.
Sometimes the top of the page has current postings, sometimes they are from days ago!

I know. That's what I miss too. I've been using the Live Feed - it seems to include more than the Newsfeed.

I have been using Live Feed, it seems the most like the old way, except it gives a bit more info than I would like, such as, who friended who. News Feed seems to just give you random updates.

If you switch to Status Updates you will miss photos that are posted. You'll have to click Photos on the left side to see those.

You are right about the Photos- I switched to Status Updates and I was missing all the photos. so i actually switch back and forth between the 2 to see all the updates

I may do that instead of Live Feed. I'm afraid I'll forget and miss some photos.

live feed constantly updates, whereas newsfeed is kind of a more expanded version of the old highlights (which i HATED).

i actually love livefeed, it was one of the features of the version BEFORE this last one that i really missed when they updated.

don't forget, you can also add people to friend lists, so you can check out just those friends' status updates and pictures.
