Quick eBay question

I have 7 various lots listed at the moment and I am getting some strange emails from a woman about a couple of them. First, she just asked about shipping and I responded. Then, today, I received two more, saying she read shipping was only $6.00 - don't know where she got that - and a second asking for my name and address - a little odd. I don't have a huge number of reviews, but they are 100% positive and she can read those if she is nervous. I replied to her about the shipping and explained how I calculated it and invited her to go to usps.com and see for herself. I also said I would be happy to supply the contact info if she won.

Here is my question/concern. I am getting really odd vibes off of her, can I block her from bidding without going thru the whole NPB thing? I was looking thru the eBay community but couldn't really find the answer. I don't know why, but my DH and I agree that there is something "off" about her questions and such. Am I being paranoid? Help!

Howdy!

You can block bidders. I have had to do it a few times myself. There are some strange people in this world. You have to dig to find the link though. I'll look for it. If I find it I'll post it here.

What does her feedback look like? Possibly she is new to Ebay and doesnt realize that she is "bidding" but that she maybe thinks she is the winning bidder/buyer if she bids?

Thanks for the link, mikess! Well, the woman emailed back and said that she had mixed up two lots and emailed me by mistake. That explains the weird messages! I will keep the link for futher reference.

I did receive another funny email. A woman had written and asked about shipping and I replied. Well, then she emailed back and wondered if it would be ok to wait and send payment until after she won! I was tempted to write and say, not, just send me some money now!
