I make a similar treat, but the instructions are a little bit different. You might try it next time. I haven't had any problems with the kisses cracking (it does say the white chocolate will melt more quickly).Tinkerbell_Girl said:Last night I made pretzel wreaths and the kisses didn't soften that much. The only thing I could think of that I did wrong was that I used the milk chocolate kisses instead of the hug kisses. I put them in the oven for 5 mins. Then I got them out and tried to put a M&M on them and the kiss cracked. I did preheat the oven. I was so upset that they didn't melt. I was looking forward to them so much! What did I do wrong?

Crush 1 pkg oreos (or the cheap brand of oreos)
Mix with 1 pkg cream cheese
Roll into marble sized balls. Chill for about 1 hour.
Dip in almond bark (I used white, then sprinkled with choc. in a zip lock bag for a nice look).
I'm bringing these to a Christmas cookie/candy exchange tomorrow night. They were really easy, but taste very very good! Also, I was thinking (but have not tried) that you could use the cheap peanut butter cookies or other flavors too.

Mine cracked and the chocolate was so terrible tasting i threw them all away. Its almost like they were dry. When I make more i will use the hugs instead.

They're Hershey's Kisses that are white and milk chocolate. They kind of look like zebra stripes. They've been around for years.OceanAnnie said:Ok, I thought I knew alllll about chocolate. I guess not! I have to ask, what are "hugs" and how long have they been around?![]()

I looked online and year ago they would pop right up. HA! Not this time![]()
