To everyone who's posted those great ideas....THANK YOU!!!!!
I'm about to wrap up my Christmas goodie making...only 1 thing left and I've gotta say thanks!

I'm so looking forward to all the family...it's gonna be the first time in many years that we've all been together so I went a little crazy in the goodies department...even made a deal with my sister...I'll do all the candy stuff and she can do the cookies.
So far I've made...
Chocolate covered pretzels, white and milk chocolate, sprinkled and non-sprinkled
Chocolate covered marshmallows, white and milk chocolate, sprinkles too and non-sprinkled
Quick Smores
Quick Turtles
Chocolate covered ginger snap cookies (had some extra chocolate to use, but they look really nice)
Mint Meltaways
Oreo Truffles, dipped in white and milk chocolate
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles (white and milk chocolate dipped)
Heavenly Hash (cherry, pecan & coconut truffle)
Peppermint Bark
Maple Fudge with pecans
Peanut Butter Fudge
Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge
Orange Slice Cake (it's not quick...takes 3 hours to bake and it's in the oven now...it's like a fruitcake without the liquor or dried fruit)
and if the humidity will go down (93% today)...I'm suppose to make divinity
Okay, like many here I was highly skeptical of that peanut butter fudge recipe....1 can of vanilla frosting to 1 jar of peanut butter...but OMG!

It is fantastic! It's very smooth and not as hard as some other fudges...I made it with chocolate chips added and it was a bit harder, but tasty! Next time I'm gonna use a can of chocolate frosting instead of vanilla...think it'd work better.
The turtles...had those before, but so YUMMY!
Smores...my personal favorite dessert from 50s Prime Time...so thanks!!!
The Heavenly Hash and Orange Slice Cake are from my collection at home...I'll post the recipes next in separate posts.
So, with sis's additions...sugar cookies, chocolate fudge, peanut butter kisses cookies, and a couple of others she told me and I can't remember...think we've got the family covered. Matter of fact, my oldest nephew who's in the marines flew in today and we told him what we had...he said, "i'm gonna be on such a sugar high, I'll be able to fly myself back without a plane."

Gwarsh!
So, again...THANKS!
