Quick Dry Bath Towels--Tell me about them please

Even though we often hang a towel up and use it twice, it still seems like I do a lot of laundry that is just towels...I line dry a lot, but I like the towels done in the dryer,but it seems like it takes forever(compared to other items). I have some JCPenneys coupons and I was thinking about replacing my old towels with the "quick dry" type towels they carry, they are $4.98 each, with my coupons I think I can get 10 towels for about $30 plus tax. Has anyone tried these type of towels before??? I wanted to know if you like them, really dry faster,wear well, etc..thanks!!!

I bought those same towels........They shed for quite some time, and dry super fast, because they dont absorb at all! I will NEVER buy them again. I would give them to the dogs, but they arent even absorbent enough to dry my dogs with. They do look very nice though.

we have some we bought from Kohl's and I don't think they are absorbant enough.

I replaced all our towels with these about 6 months ago. I love the taupe set for the boys bathroom but the light blue set does not seem to be holding up as well. I had very little shedding with either set. I feel like they absorb well. Just kinda ticks me off the blue does not seem to be the same quality.

I think its all about brand and quality. I've tried Aquas towels and another brand that were very good but they do cost more.
