friends of mine from San Diego and my family went today, just to DL. we didn't arrive inside the park until after 10am, as they drove up this morning and had to get their AP's registered, etc.

anyway, the lines weren't too bad until later in the afternoon. that being said, we didn't go on any roller coasters. we did HM 15 mins, grabbed FP for Splash Mtn, lunch at Hungry Bear, Pooh ride, Splash Mtn w/FP, train to FL, Small World 15 mins, ice-cream break! Peter Pan 20 mins, Snow White 15 mins, Buzz Lightyear 15 mins, Captain EO, Popcorn break! Innoventions for an hour, then went home.

The park really started to feel crowded about 2pm or so. I guess CA guests from the AM started to trickle into DL?? We had a lot of fun and are very happy to have AP's so we can enjoy more another day ;)

Happy planning!!

Thanks for the info. We are arriving around 10am on Tues 7/31 and are debating DL or Knotts/Medieval that first day. Not arriving early enough to take advantage of those first few hours but we will have 6 days there. Thinking DL nap (we are travelling thru the night) then back for eve hours. Hmmm. I am watching how wait times are building with the new CarsLand open now.
Thanks again for the report! Glad you had a great time.
