Quick Disney Visa/Package Pay Off Question

I have been using Disney Visa to make payments on our package. Then, I turn around immediately and pay off the Visa balance because I don't really want to "charge" any of our vacation if possible. If push comes to shove and I needed to end up charging say $1000 of the package once I get to our payment deadline, would this qualify for the 6 month 0% financing or do you have to charge the entire package purchase price to qualify? Hope that makes sense. Let me know if I need to clarify. Thanks!

As long as your reservation is a qualifying vacation (WDW package not room-only, DCL, etc.) I believe any payment over $100 qualifies for the financing. You can even have multiple overlapping payments qualify each with it's own 6-month period (such as charge $500 this month and another $500 next month). It does not have to be final payment, full payment, all payments, etc. Any payment over $100 on a qualifying vacation.

Enjoy your vacation!

Thank you so much! I just make the payment and then call Chase to ask for the financing offer? I appreciate your help!

It should be automatic. You don't need to do anything. Your next statement should show the "promotional rate". Just remember that you still need to make the minimum payments each month even if the Disney package is the only thing that you have on the CC.

I would call chase and ask. The last time I used this years ago I was told you had to charge the entire vacation at once as per my phone call with Chase. The charge also had to come from Disney directly not a travel agent.

You don't need to pay in full in order to get the 0% for 6 months. In fact, you don't even need to place the entire amount on your Disney Visa. You could make your deposit with another CC and then make subsequent payments with the Disney Visa. The payments made with the Disney Visa will show up under the promotional rate.

As far as paying through a TA...well, that's going to depend on how that TA runs your CC through. If they pay Disney directly using your CC info, the charge will appear on your account under the promotional rate. But if they charge the amount to their agency so that it shows up as XYZ Travel Co., then you won't get the promotional rate.
