Quick Discount Code Question

If I were to book a MYW package now, if a package discount code comes out would I be able to apply it to my already booked reservation?

We called Disney CRO with this question three separate times--twice we were told no, and once yes. Bottom line is, I don't think the people at CRO have any idea. We are going in April, and got sick of waiting, so we booked the package with dining and tickets through AAA.

We have been Disney regulars for many years, and have never seen the confusion that has been prevalent since January 1.

For example, we called yesterday to book a Fantasmic Dinner package. Question #1 was: can we use MYW dining plan to book fantasmic dinner.
Question #2 was: Is Sci-Fi available for Fantasmic dinner package during our visit in April. (Sci Fi participation in this plan varies)

The first person we got at CRO said no way can a MYW dining credit be used for Fantasmic package, but Sci Fi was available for Fantasmic if we would like to pay separately.

Immediatly hung up the phone and called back. Got a different CM, and was informed that we certainly could use the MYW dining plan for Fantasmic dinner, but Sci-Fi was not available.

The MYW plan for packages and dining seems to have thrown CRO into total confusion!

Yes..you can use a code on a preexisting reservation. Last year I made our reservations thinking we would have to stay at a value resort to save money...I ended up getting a code and called CRO back with it and saved almost $400. For that I upgraded to a mod resort and still had a few $$ to spare. You can't combine two seperate codes though. You just can use one. I hope this helps

From what I understand you can't use a "room only code" toward a package but if you get an offer by email or a postcard offer there is a way to use that toward a package. I don't think we're really going to know for sure until room only codes come out. If they even come out at all.

If you book the MYW with dining, you cannot use codes, only a AAA discount. This is why the dining option may not be such a great deal after all, since you cannot apply codes to it.
I booked a "room only" AAA discount for Nov. and was told I could change it if better discounts come along since I did not get the dining option. Had I purchased the dining option, I would have to stick with the rates I have now, which are pretty high.

My Dreams agent booked our family a My Way package with a code. We got about $1000 off. And it definitely wasn't AAA because we don't have that.

Did your package include the dining option? Because I was told with the dining option, they only allow the AAA discount. If your package did include the dining option, let me know, because then I have some phone calls to make.
