When we went: Thanksgiving Week 2012
Where we stayed: Art of Animation in a Lion King Suite

We ate here several times during our trip: dinner for the 4 of us upon arrival, several snacks through the week, and a salad late on Thanksgiving evening.

What we ate: tandoori shrimp, create-your-own salads, house-made chips, chicken burger, meatball sandwich, veggie pizza, cupcakes.

What we liked: the dining area was very attractive

What we didn't like: we were unimpressed overall by Landscape of Flavors. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but my DH and kids had no expectations (they show up for the Disney trip and have a great time, but they leave all of the planning and obsessing to me!) The food was not good. The food ordering area is very confusing, noisy, and the wait for food is long...and we were there during off hours, not during busy meal times. We were out playing Fantasia golf one evening and opted to go OFF PROPERTY to an Outback Steakhouse instead of returning to the resort for dinner like we had planned. We haven't left the Disney bubble during a vacation since 1996! The price difference between the Outback dinner (steaks, sodas, and sides for all, plus an app) and the Landscape dinner (tandoori shrimp, burger, small veggie pizza, meatball sandwich, all with sides, and sodas) was that Outback was only $12 more. That drove home the fact that Landscape was overpriced. Sorry to be a wet blanket, but I gave it several tries. I wanted it to be great.

Will we go back? No.
