Just got back in last night from our six days at Bay Lake Tower. Incredible trip!
We had a few reservations that we canceled but here's a short review of the ones we kept. No pics, sorry, my DH would think I was totally insane!
Liberty Tree Tavern
This was surprisingly really good. I honestly thought this would be a bust and it was at the request of my Dad (my parents went with us) that we ate there. It was really good. The apple cake dessert was out of this world! All six of us, even my picky 7 year old DD really liked it!
Mama Melrose
We booked this for lunch because of the Fantasmic package. With six of us I really wanted the priority seating. We did lunch there, which as many know is the same as the dinner menu. I had the vegetarian minestrone soup as my app which was really good. I ordered the mozzarella/tomato flatbread as my main course. Honestly the only think I can say about it was it was gross. My son had it as well and thought the same thing. My DH had the chicken parm and said that the one he had last year at Tony's was much better. My parents both had the meat flatbread and said it was fair. Needless to say we wouldn't return there and I'm disappointed at how much $$ we spent because it really wasn't worth it.
Akershus Storyland Breakfast
This was really good! We all enjoyed it and my daughter loved the princess interaction. We saw Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Ariel and Aurora.
My husband and I went for date night to Narcoossees and honestly that was to die for! I had the chopped salad before my meal and it was out of this world. I had the filet and I barely needed a knife to cut it. My hubby had the surf and turf. He thought his meat was a little overcooked but because it was so tender it was fine. He said the lobster was really good too.
Other than that we did quick service for most of the other meals and the days that we did breakfast for the most part we skipped lunch and just snacked. I'm glad for us we tried some new places but have started to form our little list of favorites that for our next trip we will stick with!!
