I have a CP package booked for Christmas Eve. Do I just show up at the restaraunt at the time booked or do I need to pick up some tickets from somwhere first?

Thanks. :thumbsup2

Attended Candlelight Processional last week, it was beautiful and very moving.

Back to your question...Go to the restaurant, at the end of the meal your server will give you Candlelight Processional reserved seating stickers for everyone in your party to wear. Be sure to line up at least 45 minutes before the show. The line for reserved seating is to the left of the America Gardens Theatre.

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas Eve. Enjoy! :santa:

They must have changed the way things are done since last Christmas. When my wife and I stayed at the French Quarter in December of 2005 we were advised to get our Processional tickets at guest services in the resort lobby ahead of time. (There was a telepone reminder, via the red blinking light, in our room telling us to pick up our event tickets.) I remember that we picked ours up a couple of days before our reservation date. I'd check on that if I were the OP.

I might mention also that we ate at the San Angel Inn that evening, and arrived at the Processional no more than 15 minutes before the event began because I didn't realize how far the San Angel was from the theatre. There was no line, as everyone with reservations was already seated in the front section, and we were ushered right in, and seated on the front row of the second section, on the aisle, which was a wonderful location. I'm not sure that arriving 45 minutes before the event is always such a great idea. LOL.

Enjoy.

The stickers were given at the restaurant.

We made the mistake of getting in the reserved seating line at 7:50 for the

8:15 show. You can not imagine how long that line was!!! They must have

sold many more dinner packages this year. This was for the November 30th

show. We may have had "reserved seats" but we were only 5 or 6 rows from

the back, with trees and those support poles obstructing our view. My

parents attended the 8:15 show on Dec 6. They got in line at 7:10 and had

about 30 people ahead of them. I wouldn't risk going just before the show,

especially on Christmas Eve.

Thanks - the reason I posted was because I thought they'd changed the process. I know you used to have to pick something up.......

Can't wait! :thumbsup2

Enjoy your trip and this beautiful show.
