Quick car hire question

Quick question I'm sure somebody will be able to answer. when renting a car, do the hire companies take a print of your credit/debit card to hold a payment in case of damage etc... and if so how much is it? I want to make sure I have enough room on my credit card if I use that or how much to leave spare on debit card. If it makes a difference the full price of the care hire will be paid before we go.

If you have no Damage or done the fuel policy that is on your contract

then NO charges should be Deducted

Fuel Policy ... Full on Collection ..... Return M/T ... then price of Full

Tank WILL be taken out


Fuel Policy .... Full on Collection ... Return FULL ... No Charge.

You Should hope to have about £ 1000 in Overdraft facility on CC.
