Quick bus question re: DTD from WL

I haven't used the bus system extensively in prior visits tos I'm trying to confirm what I think I know.

Buses DO go to/from resort to park and to/from park to resort
Buses DO NOT go between resorts (i.e. Pop Century to Contemporay)
Bues DO go to/from resort to/from DTD

Have I got this right?

Yes. Well, pretty much. When resorts share buses (e.g. WL and GF share the DtD bus), WL Guests have direct, if happenstance, transportation to the Grand Floridian.

Thanks for confirming my assumption. Helps since we are trying to out run the storm forecast for the Northeast on Tues and Wed. I just changed flights from 2/2 to 2/1 and had to do a room only reservation at WL for 1 night. No park tickets so we need to stay busy till our package begins on 2/2.

To get to the Contemporary and the other monorail resorts, take the MK bus then the monorail (or the launch to the Polynesian/GF). To get to Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness, ditto for the MK bus but then take the dedicated boat to these resorts. To get to the Epcot-area resorts, take the bus to DHS then walk or take the Friendship boat to the hotels.

If your package includes tickets you can pick them up, up to three days early. The information on how to do this is in the Sticky on park tickets at the top of the Theme Parks and Attractions strategies board. If you then want to add an additional day to your tickets that same sticky includes the price of additional days.
