Up to 24 points per Use Year. The cost is $15 per point.

the easy way to remember is if you know that the minimum contract purchase is 25 pts.

so the maximum they will sell you as one-time-use pts is 24 pts...otherwise, they'd prefer you buy an ongoing contract.

(might not really be a connection there but it makes it easier to remember for me.)

And it only takes a matter of minutes to purchase the OTUP. CM who is taking your reservation connects you to a CM who will sell you the points. Buy the points with a credit card and the original CM gets you back.

Can you buy them on the member website when you make a reservation? Or do you have to make the reservation over the phone if you will need to buy OTUP?

You have to call. These points have no resort attached to them, so they may appear like transferred points. And you can't make a reservation online with transferred points since they don't show up on your account. Unless they match resort and UY.
