Tell me again when the AKL Villas conceirge is going to be ready and where it's going to be. I hear Southwest's low fares calling my name tonight.

"When" has been answered. "Where" is: the 6th floor of Jambo House (the Lodge). There will be a total of 5 2BR lockoffs. Two of them face the pool area, three of them face the Sunset Savanna.

So does tht mean that the only conceirge rooms are the 2 BRs? I'm looking for a studio in September. So it seems that Conceirge is out. Are all the rooms at that time in Jambo house? It's fine if they are. Also, I heard that you can't make any view requests with value rooms. Is that right? And I'll be calling later today-anyone want to make a guess as to what my chances are for anything, and if so, for what kind of room at this late date for September?

The concierge rooms will be 2BR lock-offs, meaning they can be separate 1BR and studio, so you are not precluded from a studio. However, with the low number of concierge rooms what you may find is that other members may quickly gobble them up as 2BRs.

Jambo is the only building open until 2009. Also there will be no concierge rooms and no value rooms in the new building that will open in 2009.

I believe you can request savanna view for value but it is not a request that is guaranteed. However, for Sep 2007, an issue may be whether any of the value rooms open by then will even have a savanna view.

I would assume that by now Sep 2007 (for which there are no concierge rooms because those do not open until Dec) is pretty full but you won't know until you call.

Assuming that's true, the OPs only choices for Sept 2007 would be standard and savannah view studios.

Yes this is correct. There are no Value villas until Dec 1st. There are only Standard View and Savanna View villas open from now until Dec 1st.
