quick add on question

Yikes - DVC owners for only 6 months and we've added on already.

I have a quick question - we added 150 points yesterday at SSR, we have a Sept. use year. I want to confirm that the 2006 points are only available at SSR and not for AK - is this right? We chose SSR over AK only because of the 2006 points (sadly, with in 6 months, I used all of our 2006 points and most of our 2007 points on our original 250 point contract! I'm beginning to think it's an addiction. ) IF we bought AK, would we get 2006 points too? Our guide told us no, only at SSR would we get the 2006 points - I LOVED AK so I would def. buy there if we could.

My guide said the same thing. It makes sense since this is still 2006 (in September UY time).

I bought in Dec of 05 as a Christmas gift to my wife and had 500 to start with since we just got back and I banked the 2005 pts into 2006. Thought I could use those to stretch my points to 300 or so for 6 years... Yeah right, I'll be out by end of October for 07 sans about 26 that I'll bank.

I've been looking at an add-on for a few weeks...

There are no 2006 AKV points because there will be no AKV units available to use until Sept 2007. If you were to add on points at AKV however you could probably get the developer points which you would have to use within 7 months. You would not get the discount on the cost of the points however.
