My sister is in Paris right now and decided at the last minute to visit Disneyland.

She saw on the DLP website that there is a one day park hopper ticket for a promotional price of $72 dollars. Does anyone know if you can buy it for that price at the park? She tried buying it online but said it can take up to 10 days to be delivered and that would not work for her.

She is going on September 29th.

Also, does anyone have any tips or strategies for doing both parks in one day? I know it's not nearly enough time to do everything, but she is more interested in thrill rides (roller coasters and whatever else they may have), so those would be her priority.

Any help would be appreciated!

In terms of strategy, I'd tell her to visit The Studios first and Fastpass effectively. She should aim to do Crush's Coaster, Indiana Jones and Rock n Rollercoaster all in the morning. Thats her thrill rides. Then head to the main park for the parade in the afternoon and take in the magic as best she can with what time is left.

I agree to make the best use of the fast pass, Crush's Coaster gets very busy and no fast pass for this one so if poss I'd probably head there as soon as they open the studios. Fast pass Tower of Terror, do Rock n Rollercoaster then head to the main park. Fast pass Big Thunder Mountain maybe, then ride Pirates of the Carribean and Indiana Jones before heading to Discoveryland but that's just me lol. Hmmmm she's going to be busy :rotfl:

Also just to add tell her to listen out for them calling for single riders, this has helped me out queue jump a fair bit :goodvibes

Just a quick info for Crush's Coaster : except for operational reasons, in order to avoid any incidents considering the increasing number of guests running to be first in line, we usually (but not always) open the line for this particular attraction around 9.30 am. So the earliest you are at the WDS gate, the greatest chance you have to ride it with a shorter wait time.

I repeat : It is not done systematically and it's on Disney will to open the park gates at 10 am which is the regular opening time. So if one day they don't, please note that no complain or remark will be accepted.

Oh ! I just forgot :) With a little pixie dust, some rides might open sometimes earlier than 10am.

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls. Welcome to the Walt Disney Studios park. For the comfort and the safety of everyone, we kindly ask you to walk to your first destination. Thank you and have in the magical day at the Walt Disney Studios :)

Thank you so much for the tips! They are really helpful. If anyone has any other tips please leave them here because I will be showing her everything tomorrow night.

Thank you, she wasn't sure which park to do first, I'll be sure to tell her to do Crush's coaster first!

:rotfl: She sure is going to be busy! Indiana Jones will be closed for refurbishment it seems, so I guess that's good and bad. One less ride to worry about but she would have liked to ride it I think.

That's a great tip, thanks! I google this after you mentioned and found how they say this in French so she knows what to listen for :goodvibes

I didn't know about that! Thank you so much for sharing! She is planning on arriving early, hopefully they will do that on the 29th :)
