Ok I have been looking at HH.I need to know if 150 points would be enough to trade into ii at times.We would probably go to HH every other year and maybe disney the other times,but we may want to trade into ii at times.Also what would the monthly payment be on 150 points.We would put down 20%.What about the monthly fees?

Hello from a fellow Buckeye! Hilton Head is our resort and we love it. DH is not the biggest Disney fan but he has agreed to go to Disney every other year and since HH is only about a 12 hour drive away, HH was the perfect compromise for us. I'm not really sure about your II trading question so I'll let someone else handle it but I am pretty sure with banking and borrowing, as long as you have enough points for a one bedroom for a week, you can do the trade. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

As far as monthly payments go, it would depend on how long you finance. We put 20% down and I asked about the 150 point option and believe mortgage and dues for 10 years was somewhere around $150-$160 per month. I hope this helps ya!

Thanks for the information.Like your hubby mine isn't a big disney fan,but he loved the what he saw for the resorts.So that my plan also to go to wdw evert other year and go to hh the other years.I thought that it would be like 150.to 160. a month thats would be fine.So for you its 12 hours to hh.Maybe only 9-10 for us since we are in dayton.Let me know whats the best route is to take.

I wouldn't buy DVC with the II trading in mind. I'd buy the amount of points you think you will need for DVC resorts and look at other options for the years you don't use DVC points like renting from another timeshare member. The DVC II exchange options or just too limited to count on at present. To answer your question directly, you will usually need betweeen around 55 and 300 points per exchange depending on unit size needed and exchange requested. 55 would be a low season studio using HH and 300 would be a high season 2 BR using OKW.
