NJDisneyfreak: The Marketplace is on the ground floor, just past the elevators that are in turn just past the check-in desk, inside the Inn side of the Beach Club...from the Villas, take the covered walkway directly in front of you as you exit the Villas (on the non-pool side)...go a very short distance (maybe the equivalent of 1/2 a short city block?) and you reach a covered eating area w/seats & tables...go thru that door into the Beach Club and the Marketplace is directly in front of you...yes, they offer food for all three meals, and no, it's not like the food courts at the values and moderates...there's only one "station"...they offer omelettes, b'fast sandwiches, fruit parfait, b'fast breads & pastries for b'fast; sandwiches & salads for both lunch and dinner...a calorically-rich selection of deserts, gelato (Italian ice cream)...you order your food and take it to the check-out counters that also serve the souvenir and sundry store area (and the sourvenir/sundries area offers cold cereals, fruits, juices, boxed donuts, etc.)...it reminds me more of the Artists Palette at SSR than any of the food courts at places like POR, ASMu, or WL...
I've never used the spa at the BC, altho I have gotten my hair cut there...it was a good hair cut that was quite pricey if you normally use a Hair Cuttery type place, and right in line if you instead frequent "downtown" type high-end salons...in my experience, the "straight hair cuts" (no real styling or coloring or anything like that) are about the same...
Disneydad123: In a way, the BC Villas are even more "in the middle of things" than the rooms on the Inn side...it's every bit as easy to get to the lobby, and one's "need" for the lobby is about the same whether you're in the villas or the Inn...all the services located in the lobby are equally available to Inn and Villas guests. The rooms--comparing a Villas studio to a "regular" Inn room--are a bit different...in the Inn, you get two beds; in the Villas, you get a bed and a pull-out sofa. The sofa and coffee table are nice for "sitting around" before sleep-time--my S slept on the couch w/out pulling it out so we felt like we had more space...the Villa also has a small 'frig, microwave and "kitchen sink" w/cabinets above and below...this compares to "just" the 'fridge in an Inn room...plus, the Villas have two beautiful "hang-out" rooms in the lobby--one leading to the DVC pool, which is a very nice pool area, w/a barbeque area, too...the other has a tv, sitting areas, and something that completely fascinates me--a gorgeous "adult" dollhouse! Unfortunately, it's enclosed in a clear case, so couldn't open it up to see if Disney had furnished and decorated the inside of the dollhouse...but both "lounges" are wonderful for just sitting w/a book, or chatting w/a friend...of course, you also have easy access to the Solarium on the Inn side, another wonderful relax-for-a-chat/read-a-book place...In the Villas, laundry facilities are free--two washers and four dryers are on the 4th floor of the Villas building...coin-operated laundry facilities are in the quiet pool complex on the Inn side...I'm not sure whether I have a distinct preference of Villa over Inn (or visa versa)...depends on where you get put in each building, I guess--and again, that's assuming an Inn room as compared to a Villas studio...of course, if you're in a one-bedroom (or bigger) that would change the comparisons...
Bottom line: you're just as close (or far, depending on your room location) and just as "in the midst" of BC activity whether you're staying on the Inn side or the Villas side...
Hope this helps...
